The region Piedmont is rich in arts, culture and beautiful nature.

The castles near Torino are famous and the Baroque palaces in the historical center, too. The Piedmont is worth seeing especially in autumn: The grapes harvest takes place near the well known city Asti and the truffle season opens: Asti and Alba offer the best truffles.

The region is not only a paradise for lovers of culture and gourmets, but for families, singles and groups, too: On the Lake Maggiore you can surf, sail and make do other water sports.

Of course skiing is possible in the winter.
